This exhibition tries to explain the relations Picasso maintainted with non-Western Art. A sensitive question as the artist denied it incluenced his work but built up a large collection of this kind. Documents, letters, objects and photographs prove his interest and curiosity about non-Western art and the display of Picasso’s works side by side with those of non-Western artists reveals undeniable similarities.
