African routes

PARIS.
Through ancient and contemporary art works, religious rituals objects, crafts, ivory and gold pieces this exhibition explains how cultures spread around the African continent following river, land and sea routes. It shows how certain towns became art hubs, how each region and country contributed to the artistic melting pot and how rare resources like ivory, gold and copper helped encourage artisitic exchanges.
