The Salon du Dessin brings together twenty-three French and sixteen international art galleries among the best of the profession. They present more than 1000 original works from the Renaissance to 1970 including drawings from the French, Italian, German, Flemish and English schools.
This edition also features an exhibition of a selection of drawings from the Nantes Arts Museum and an exhibition of preparatory drawings made by designers from jewellery house Chaumet. The Daniel and Florence Guerlain Foundation Prize for contemporary drawing will be awarded on March 22nd. It rewards a work on paper or cardboard created exclusively with graphic means.
