The exhibition «Peru before the Incas» looks at the civilizations that flourished in Peru before Incas ruled the country through recent archaeological discoveries made, among others, at Huaca site near Trujillo and in the royal tombs of Sipán. Featuring some 300 objects, especially ceramics and gold jewels, it offers an insight into the origins, the culture, the belioefs and organization of power within the Chimú, Lambayeque, Cupisnique and Mochica societies
