The exhibition “Bourdelle et l’Antique. Une passion moderne” sheds a new light on the inspiration sculptor Antoine Bordelle drew from Antiquity, especially from ancient Greek sculptures, and how he reinterpreted these works in comparison with other artists. For this purpose, eight of his most famous works produced between 1904 and 1914 are displayed alongside preparatory studies, ancient Greek sculptures and works by contemporary artists such as Picasso, Modigliani, Maillol, Cézanne and Matisse.
18 rue Antoine Bourdelle, 75015 Paris.
