Gauguin the Alchemist

This exhibition trace’s the artist’s entire career through more than 230 works and not only presents his famous paintings but also lesser known sculptures, ceramics, woodworks, drawings and engravings. Chronologically arranged, it looks at all his periods with focuses on his stays in Brittany and in French Polynesia. There are as well videos explaining his creative process how he worked and his capacity to transform materials.
