On the occasion of the centenary of the birth of Irving Penn, the Grand Palais hosts the first major retrospective of the American photographer’s work in France since his death. Through more than 230 photographs arranged thematically and chronologically as well as a selection of his drawings and paintings, it traces his seventy-year career and look at all genres he worked in: fashion, still life, portraits, nudes and beauty.
