The exhibition “Icons that Matter” presents more than sixty paintings, sculptures and prints from the Pop Art movement on loan from the Withney Museum of American Art in New York. Shown in France for the first time, highlighting the diversity of techniques employed, they were produced between the beginning of the 60s and the end of the 70s and include masterpieces by famous artists such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Rauschenberg, Jasper Johns and Jim Dine as well as works by artists little known in France.
